Hi, I’m trying different options on what I can get my copperband to feed on. He likes mysis, does anyone have have experience with them feeding on half clams?

I've never fed them half clams, but when I did have one I had success with Masstick.

They are very finicky eaters. Hard to feed sometimes.

That's what I used to use to get them started feeding so YES. Very rarely did a healthy one not eat the clam. You'll also want to get them onto more varieties of food. The longer snout is designed to pick at worms and foods in crevices so you might want to keep that in mind while choosing foods.
