i've had it for three days and it's not eating flake food or frozen shrimp.it is eating algae from decorations though.should i be worried yet,i've had these before and they all ate flake food.it's not hidding as much either,maybe he is calming down?

Coral beauty angels are wild caught and can be picky eaters. The flake food you are offering it is algae based or protein based?

it says high in protein from live coral reefs,prime reef flakes

I have always fed my angels mega marine angel preparations with sponges and mega marine algae ...Also formula 2 (frozen not flake) some nori or seaweed selects and spinach,broccoli,peas and zucchini...

Formula2 or spirulina flakes are vegetable matter and should work. Try some dry seaweed rubber banded to your ornaments.
