Coraline

Does Coraline come in different color other than purple? Because I am getting some green algae but I don't think it's the normal algae maybe Coraline in another color....??? I am seeing a Bright almost Neon Green Color Algae growing just small spots right now on my sand and some spots on my LR....

Yup... sounds like coralline algae. Think it's different in different tanks, but mine always comes in neon green at first. I wish it would stay different colors for variety, but all mine ends up purple or dark red/maroon.

Yep, same here. My tank has been up a a while now and I'll get neon green patches on my LR that gradually turns to purple or deep red. Starts green on my glass too.

Well mine is starting to grow once again. I believe once my New Lighting system comes in it might even start growing out of control

Light can affect coralline growth but its growth usually slows when there is excess phosphates or the alkalinity is low.
