CUC Before fish?

Hi I want to add a couple of damsels to the tank but I don't have a clean up crew in, is it necessary to have them first or will the fish cope ok for a week or so until I add them?

Cuc is actually something not even needed in a tank. Really, just correct levels of feeding an regular water changes should ale care of it. Also on note of the damsels, they are little devils an it can be hard to find suitable tank mates for them.

Yeah, chromis are a much better choice depending on what species an tank size. If your looking for color or personality, there are a lot of options and live aquaria is a great place to browse for stoking suggestions
