Just bought some live rock from someone and have been curing it in a container with a heater, circulating pump and light. I have a cocktail shrimp rotting right now. I notice about after 1hr after I shut off the light I see some worms, snails come out to play. The snails I'm ok with even tho they might not make it thru the cycle. But the worms (not many 2-3?)should I remove them as I see them?

Also have some debris from the rocks and rotting shrimp (which I removed tonight) floating around. When should I do a water change? I'm thinking when my ammonia and trites go to 0. Correct me if I'm wrong it's my first crack at the hobby. Thanks AA!!

No the worms are beneficial members of your cuc 99.9% of the time. And your correct on the wc after the cycle.
