Drop in ph help

Hi I did a 10% water change in my 60 litre tank today and my ph is now reading 7.8. Where as yesterday it was higher. Will this be due to my water change and will it go back up?. Thank you

The drop is due to the addition of new water not sure what salt mix you are using but I recommend instant ocean salt mix cause it contains a lot if trace elements. Also when I do water changes I always add instant ocean marine stabilizer. Helps maintain ph and is a great buffer

When did you do the water change and when did you test? What time of the day? How long between change and testing?

Ph will drop as the day comes to an end and be higher a few hours after the lights come on.

My ph can flucuate from 7.8 to 8.2 depending on several factors, one being the time of day.
