I bought an emerald crab at my lfs 3 days ago. I drip acclimated him for an hour and when I dropped him in the tank he stayed in the same spot. When I woke up the next morning he was upside down. I was scared that he was dead but when I picked him up his legs moved. I did more research and apparently it is molting. How long does it take for these guys to molt? It's been 3 days since he started.

I have never seen any crustacean take 3 days to molt, something isn't right.
all my shrimp and emerald crab usually take no more than 24-36 hours to complete a molt and that includes hiding for a day while it hardens.

It is very common for critters to molt soon after being introduced to a new tank, but I fear three days isn't good.
