Fx5 for a FO tank

All i got on my 75 gallon FO tank is an FX5 40 pounds of like rock and three damsels what else should I put ? Live rock is on the way how manny Pounds do I need and to keep it FO only what else should I add? Thanks

Is it a FO or FOWLR? FOWLR is FO with LR. You dont NEED any LR but really get as much as you want with swimming room for the fish. For the LR to be used as main filtration, get 1-1.5lbs per gallon. I have 130lbs in a 150, but a 220g skimmer and chaeto in the fuge. Also, if ur not using a rodi unit, I would strongly suggest one. I was doing pwcs every week and couldnt get my trates below 40 because my tap was so bad. GL!!!!!
