There seems to be grass growing on my live rock. There also seems to be bubbles in the grass. What is this? I tried to do some reading but couldnt find anything. Should I be concerneD?

Sounds like hair algae from your description. I would do something to lower nutrient levels in the water. Water change...more efficient skimmer...run some carbon...ect... Have you checked your nitrate and phosphate levels? What kind of water are you using...RO, RO/DI, tap? You'll want to manually remove as much of the hair algae as you can. Can you post a pic? That would make it easier to make a positive ID.

I picked up a denture brush at the drug store. It has really firm bristles and you can scrub that stuff off the rock. That's a last resort to remove the stuff from the LR, since it can't be good for the LR to be scrubbed.
