Heaters are disastrous :'(

I just got a new heater it's very nice it's for a 30-60gal tanks and I put it in there last night and I came home today and found my cleaner shrimp dead and my starfish eating my anemone any reason why this suddenly happened???

have you checked the temperature in your tank? could be that the change in temp shocked the tank. what size tank do you have also?

Dont ever use heaters in my 125 gallon tank.......the room keeps my tank at a good temp.......never had any fish or shrimp or anemones die from temp

I wish my room did that my room is in the front of the house an that's where the wind blows and it gets through my window
