I have just started seeing a few of these in the last week. I have seen this bigger one a couple of times or I have seen multiple ones this big. I also a few really small ones and I just want to make sure this is ok to have in my tank. Does anyone know for sure what this is? I have looked at a lot of bristle worm pictures but I am still not sure exactly what this is.

Hopefully a beneficial one and not one that I should be worried about?

Just a common bristle worm that will help
rid your tank of waste and decaying matter. They are extremely beneficial as a cleanup crew. The bristles on their side can sting and irritate (much like anemones and coral) so do not handle them with your bare hands.

Right be careful picking up rock. I did it yesterday and grabbed one of those. Not a fun feeling

I just moved some rock the other day so I guess I got lucky. Thanks for the replies.
