help!!! live rock problem

hi..i just started an 80 gallon tank last week, my first saltwater tank. i added a few live rocks and a sunken ship about a day after i set up the tank. My problem...about 3 days later, some sort of white stuff started growing on the rocks and are kinda like spreading but very slowly. the white stuff looks like some sort of fungus. Is this normal? What should i do?

The rock is fouling from the die off. It is quite normal, during the curing rock process I recommend lots of water changes and aggressive skimming. I also recommend you keep your lights off during the curing process.
