how much obvious flow

hi, am wondering how much flow - that you can really see - is needed... i have a 4 foot tank - going on measurements and tank calculator it is 226lts.... two Aqua one 1200lph power heads at each end directly opposite each other...i have 11 kg of base rock and about 8kg of live rock...i have a Fluval 306 @ 1150lph canister filter.....

so between the power heads and the filter i am getting 3550 lph of flow in the tank...but up the ends, under the power heads, there doesn't seem to be movement, the stuff growing on the live rock, doesn't seem to move...should i have some power heads on the back of the tank, positioned to bounce of the side walls so as to put movement there, or would it be getting there already

my tank is only cycling at the moment, so only has the rock in there, no fish or anything...would like to - way down the track - get some corals, but will just be fish once cycle is done....

thank you in advance for any help offered
