How to Properly add clean up crew ....

I live on long island and the back of my house is on the long island sound I have Ron's and tons of snails I want to add to my tank to help clean up an not have to spend money to do so.... I grabbed about 20 from my back yard and put in my tank I have live rock just sitting in the tank is empty of everything but the rock and now snails... Is there a proper way I can add the snails to my show tank without adding any diseases or parasites if they carry any ... They have been in the live rock tank for about a week .... Thanks

if you're getting snails from the ocean put them in a QT tank to let them acclimate. Not sure if there is anything you can get to treat unknown diseases without killing them but I'd look into that.

If you're just getting them from your backyard, I'm not sure they can survive in a SW tank?

It is a sw tank they are in now and the water I get them from is saltwater
