right now my tank is almost perfect well so my test say ,ex my ph is 80 i tested it an hour before lights out .Do u think this will be a problem later,if i continue this .I change about 10% weekly maybe more. my fish seem to be happy, i have blue crabs that turn my sand and shrimp to. Its been running for 5 years, but i just took it over a month ago.

8.0 is fine. A lot of people have PH lower than that.

I would say as long as you're not getting the water right from the beach you would be ok, i've heard and read at least go a mile out on the water and get it. You never know what is lurking on the shores...
