I got this feather duster 2 days ago...what in the world happened?! Is it dead? I can home and he looked like this

It's kind of like a " wait and see" thing. I would think it would. The crown is not the important part, it's the worm inside the tube that matters. However, the crown can be indicative of both sides of the story. Just keep and eye on it. Like I said I would think it will come back just fine though as long as your parameters are in check
