So I have a 55g saltwater tank and I was just wondering what lighting you guys would recommend? It will just be a fowlr tank

What's the budget? For FOWLR, you can use any light at all. It can be an inexpensive stock light, or you can splurge on LEDs if you like the shimmer effect they make. I have Kessil LED on my reef, but just a Marineland led on my FOWLR. Taotronics are under $200 on amazon or eBay, they're LED. Or you can do a stock canopy light. It's whatever you like and want to spend. :)

www.rapidled.com it gives you the chance to own leds for the price of t8's or so.

do leds if you can afford it. the overall running costs are cheaper. (dont have to replace bulbs every years) and the shimmer effect is priceless

I am currently using a light made by Current it's metal halide, idk if they make this one any more but I got it off my buddy for free
