Lirgting Question

Can a Shop Light fixture be used for lighting a FOWLR Tank.Do the different bulbs (Actinic) fit into these fixtures.I know they are cheaper and the ability to hang over tank if I remove glass canopy currently using.Thanks for any advice.

As long as you be sure to get standard normal output (NO) bulbs, then you should be fine. VHO bulbs won't work in a shop light fixture, but NO bulbs will.

What size tank are you wanting to put those NO lights on?
