Exactly where should I put live rock rubble in my refugium? Can it go in the actual refug with the miricle mud and macro alage? Or Do I need to put it in a seperate chamber?

Does the rock need to be lit?

Does it actually need to be rubble?

If I should know something about this that I didn't ask please tell me anyway. As much info about this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much!!

I have some littered about the floor of my refugium. I have more in a filter bag in the pump chamber , to make sure it gets good current flow.

As long as its fully submerged it does not mater where it goes and nope it does not have to be rubble.

True, it doesn't have to be rubble, but in a small place, rubble will maximize the number of nooks and crannies for the good bacteria to colonize.
