I have been using a turkey baster. One turkey baster of water out, one turkey baster of water from my tank in.
I have been doing this for an hour and a half, three times so far. How many hours should I do this to insure a safe acclimation?

Stars require a long and slow acclimation, due to their sensetive nature. Three hours is a good amount of time for a star. Check out "drip acclimation" in the ARTICLES section at the top of the page for more good info.

Other than brittles and possibly sifters, 4-6 (same as all the rest).

I`ve done mine 3-4 hours. Cant wait to see the pics of this beautiful seastar.
