My wife and I have a 55 reef tank with two clowns, one royal gamma, a hearty peppermint shrimp, some snails + crabs, and a six-line wrass in isolation about to enter our tank.

We are interested in bringing in a pixy hawk fish. Does anyone have any experience with this fish? Will he be too agressive for our tank? Does he simply 'chase' fish in the tank or will he bite and harm other fish?

Once you put him in the tank anything you add after wards would have to bigger than him and also somewhat aggressive. Most likely in time it will be aggressive even to your fish you have now. He may or may not bite them but chasing them around is just as bad. It will cause his tank mates to become very stressed and can still lead to death. Clowns and a gramma usually hold their own even in an aggressive environment but you will be taking a chance. Plus it's never really fun to watch a fish tank where everything is just chasing each other around lol
