PJ Cardinal ???

I have 2 PJ cardinals bought them at the same time and they were the exact same size. Now one is at the least 3 times the size of the other fish. They both eat the same amount of food.

Have they become a mated pair? Is the one becoming a female?

I'd say fish grow at different rates. I've had plenty of fish that are the same size when I buy them but one grows quicker but they equal out.
