I never thought of that. I can check it out. But a little afraid of it leaking. Could give it a shot

Thats what leak testing is for. If it leaks you can repair. I think acrylic is easier for this as you can see if the seem is good by an absence of bubbles in the seal etc. ive never done it myself but from the many who have done it i usually hear that its not as hard as it seems.
