questions about cleaning live rock and substrate

after the crash of my tank live rock has grown alot of green grass looking algae and started developing sponge looking tubes outcroppings. Any ideas on reef safe fish that will clean up better than tangs? My live rock has started growing almost neon green patches where rock is chipped its also growing on the glass is this normal in a weeks period without fish? thanks for any help offered ahead of time.

what clean up crew ya have ??
if none look at reeftopia just got 150 snails from them along with a few fish and i have to say one of the best shipping experiences i have had !! not even one snail dead !

the only thing cleaning in tank now is around 30 blue leg hermits,orange linka star,tuxedo urchin, mandarin and 3 lazy pepperment shrimp

they have great deals on snails and that would do the trick imo
