Red legged hermits in a FO tank

Can I have them? Do I need live rock/special lighting for these guys? I have a 45G tank set up with a small percula clown and a four stripe damsel. Are they detritus eaters? I'm looking to start getting a cleanup crew together and was hoping these were appropriate.

Yea, you can put them in there. They would appreciate some live rock probably, but dont have to have it. They will eat up any food that the fish miss, not sure about detritus though. If your looking for a clean up crew I'd suggest you get a few different types of snails along with the hermits.

Thanks. Yeah, I was thinking about picking up some mexican turbo snails, etc.
