Red slime alge

Instead or pretty purple coraline algea i have this marron red slimy algea what do I do. PLus i have a blenny can i just feed it regular flakes or do i have to have special food.

Sounds like Cyanobacteria. Google it, lots of info out there.

For the blenny, I'd recommend sinking pellets and frozen squid.
