Return pump.

After building my 10g sump... The first couple days it was perfect... Now return pump is returning more water back into the tank faster than the water entering the sump.
I'm not building a new sump or buying a new pump. Anyone had this problem and corrected it cheap?

get a ball valve to control the flow going back in their real cheap at lowes or home depot
