RO/DI!!!

Today I got a new (to me) SpectraPure CSPDI-25 system. It was a great deal, I only paid $50 for the thing. The first thing I am going to do is replace all of the pre-filters I am extremely excited seeing as I have been using tap water with conditioner (shame on me I know). Looking to see if anyone out there has had experience with this RO system. I am also curious if I would need to add conditioner to my RO water. I have also seen people that keep heaters in their water reservoir, is this needed? Any other tips you might have to help me out with my new found clean water would be great!!

I do not use a heater. I do however put a powerhead in to circulate the water. I also still treat my water because of chloramines that my RO doesn't remove.
