Sandbed qeustion

I kind of made a mistake and i put too shallow of a sandbed in my display tank, i want to add more to make it more to my liking.. Im in the process of making a QT tank, i rinsed sand and put it in the bottom and added rodi water, no salt yet, i read that you don't really need sand in a qt tank, can i take the sand from the qt tank and add more to my display tank? Its fully rinsed and shouldn't have bacteria

There should be no reason you couldn't. I'd add it slowly to avoid a sandstorm, but I've added sand into my DT when it was up and running.
