Sanitized water?

i was in need of some top off water for my 29g FOWLR, i usually use distilled water with no problems. my buddy uses sanitized water from a machine outside our local Ralph's with no problems. since its only 25 cents a gallon, i'm giving it a try.

my question is what is "sanitized water" and how different is it from distilled or RO water?

I think it is the same thing just called something different.

They are all the same thing except they may have different mineral levels. RO has no extra minerals in it but sanitized is most likely just distilled tap water.
