Slow but steady progress.

Hello everyone, just wanted to share a few pics of my 55g tank progress. I started my first ever saltwater tank in March 2016. I will admit that I was overzealous and a bit impatient. I've learned from my mistakes and I know that there is still a ton of stuff for me to learn. I've lost quite a few fish due to my lack of knowledge on cycling my tank, 10 damsels. Poor guys, I wish I would have done a fishles cycle but I was only doing what my LFS suggested. Then I lost more fish due to ick: clownfish, green Mandarin, purple dotty back, lawnmower blenny, and 3 more damsels.
I now have a yellowtail damsel, pajama cardinal, sand sifting starfish, chocolate chip starfish, turbo snail, 2 bumble bee snails, a shrimp that I rescued from being fishing bait (yes, a wild gulf shrimp and he's been in my tank for 2 months), also a rock (more like a brick) with 7 oysters and 8 barnacles that has also been in my tank for 2 months. All my fish are doing well and my tank parameters seem to be consistent at: pH 8, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 10 (which is my only concern). So... here are a few pics of the progress of my tank.
