I was wondering if there is anyway to get rid of these things. I have a 20gal FOWLR and there is about 25 of these slugs (Stomatella varia) that I can see. They are annoying and ugly and I was hoping to get rid of them. Picking them off is not doing it for me any more, please help. Is there like a chemical that might kill them and not my fishes, or is there something that might eat them? Any info would be appreciated.

Why you would want to get rid of such a great and "free" animal that aids in cleaning your tank is beyond me. Many have to purchase what you have been provided for free. Why not take them to the LFS and get some store credit if it's absolutely necessary.

I would also advise against the copper. It will contaminate the tank making it impossible to house inverts of anykind in the future.

Cheers
Steve
