I have a 90g fowler with a HOB skimmer.
The tank is in a classroom and I'd like to install a sump to help quiet the noise and also increase water volume.
The tank has been up about a year now and I have absolutly no idea how to accomplish this. All I know is that the tank is not drilled and I have 18" by 48" of enclosed space beneath the tank.
Are there any "sumps for dummies" links or resources to get started?

Well since the tank already has inhabitants your going to have to go with a HOB overflow box. Since i'm pretty sure you can't drill the tank with things inside of it lol.

The closest to the "sump for dummies" thing, will be this site:
Melevsreef.com - What is a Sump?

That is the site that is helping me build my sump right now.
