Tank mates

What are some good tank mates for two clowns in a 30g? No corals just liverock. I’m not looking to add soon but I wanna know for the future. Thanks.

Blennies, gobies, bassletts, cardinals, firefish all would make good tank mates

Okay. How many should I get. I have two small clowns in a 30g and I’m getting an anemone in a few months.

You’re gonna need a strong light for the nem. I mean you could do a firefish if some sort and like a royal gramma. Or a goby if some type and a Cardinal of some type. But I’d only add 2 more fish.

How many bulbs? Why not do a reef tank If you have the lights for it?

Just one bulb. And I wanna reef tank but I’m taking baby steps. This is my first saltwater tank.

It’s probably not enough light for a nem unfortunately. I’d upgrade to at least a 4 bulb unit before thinking about getting a nem. They really are sensitive critters from my experience.
