Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi there!
I am a new member and new to salt water. My 55 gallon has been up and cycled for about 5 months now. A friend is giving us their 175 and we are thrilled to switch over to it. I think our biggest hurdle is finding a mover to get it here!
Anyhow, I want to know the best, least stressful way to transfer. We have a Toby puffer, 3 chromis, 2 damsels and 2 percula clowns among a few inverts the my puffer has yet to eat. Live rock and sand that I will be moving and using as well.
I also and new to the type of filtration system. I believe it's called a sump system. It has a corner box with multi layer filter and a box below. Do I put the heater in the box below? Need bio balls? Please feel free to link me to any other chats about this stuff! Reading everything I can!
