Want to get clown fish.....questions

ok so i want to get a couple clown fish for my room.

i have a 10 gallon hexagonal tank that i wanted to use.

my big question is can i have clownfish in a fish only tank without any live plants or rocks?

10 Gallons is almost too small for anymore than just 1 clown. Even then, for a beginner aquarist, smaller SW tanks tend to be extremely hard to manage. And finally, keeping any fish in a bare aquarium is inhumane and shouldn't be done. I suggest that you either get a larger tank or contemplate reading some more about nano-reefs. edit- No wait, don't contemplate, actually go out and read a little.

Remember, the more volume you have, the more you have to do to mess it up. Also, SW fish aren't like fw, you can have 5 tetras in a 10 gallon hex sure, but SW fish are a totally different animal. I had trouble keeping my damsel from tearing into each of my shrimp in my 10gal nano FOWLR
