I have a 125gal fowlr tank. What would be the best and most eonomical lighting for me? I am not doing corals in this aquarium. However I do like the lighting that has the blue option as wel as the bright white light. Comments?

I have a 4x 54watt high output T5 light fixture made by ZooMed. Pretty cheap and you can choose from a huge variety of bulbs. Makes my tank look pretty **** amazing if I don't say so myself :). It will look much better once I get some fish in there at the end of the week.

Okay thanks. Are the led strips aquarium safe? Will they last with the salt and everything? Jumper where do you get those zoomed lights?

If going with fowlr lighting intensity means nothing so forget the t5s since the bulb changes can be pretty prices especially when getting enough bulbs for a 6' tank. T8s are much cheaper and still offer actinic (blue) bulbs. You can also purchase stunner strips to add some more color to the tank which some are even waterproof so they can be mounted inside the tank under the trim but then you would lose the shimmer effect but still great color.

I use a 48" t5 fixture on my 180g. 6'x2x2 iita plenty of light t looks great and the bulbs are about 30 dollars a year.
