What to do with dry dead rock

I got the rest of my rock for my tank today but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to rinse it or what I'm supposed to do any help would be great

If you're talking about gravel, put it in a pillowcase and keep it in a bucket of water.

If you're talking about base rock, just rinse it off and then put it in a water bucket for 24 hours.
