I would never waste money on precured live rock when its got to be shipped. There is going to be dieoff no mater how well cured it is. Geting uncured live rock sent that is as fresh as possible (its still gonna be high and dry for alot longer than you think) is the best process. This way you have full control over the curing process and the ammonia levels.

fishfreek im in total agreement im also considering on purchasing more LR. And to say that theres is "cured" is correct for them to say in their tanks, but once that LR leaves the tank and is placed in a box dieoff will start to occur and will need to be cured again. The main reason i think they say its cured is so your less likely to get unwanted critters. JMHO
