white aragonite getting a greyish look to it.

the product is carib sea special grade sand. it is aragonite and in a fish only tank. total depth is maybe 2-3inch. when put in the tank it was white now its kind of a dull grey. should there be any concern or just part of what aragonite substrate does?

thanks

It will stay white unless you have detritus accumulating on it or some type of algae starting to grow on it.
