Will be LR replenish it's self?

My LR was nice and purple. Now its brown will it come back to life?

it was purple when I bought over the last couple months its been turning but over the past week it's gotten alot worse. But its only brown on the top the bottom of the rock and in the crevasse is purple.

I hope not.

With the proper amount of Calcium, alk and mag readings it should come back.

It was treated, However. The charcoal got most of the treatment before it went to the tank. The inverts are happy and doing well, How do i get the reading back, what supps do I need to get, I felt it today its slimey.

diatoms. your tank is cycling again or has just finished. they should burn themselves out and the purple should com back. just keep you Ca in the 450 range
