marino999 beware

Marino999 ordered shrimp from me. we came to the agreement of 5 shrimp for 10$ shipped. when he paid me he told me to ship the day after I received payment. unfortunately i shipped them two days after he paid me instead of one.

Then today he made his mom drive out to the post office even though they where scheduled for delivery today. he sends me a PM saying that everything came alive and looks good, but he asked for 5.80 in refund because his mom picked them up at the PO.

I told him that since they were scheduled for delivery today and since everything came alive that I was unwilling to refund him for shipping.

he has then proceed to type this on two of my feedback threads
"do not recommend buying from him.
Have to run to post office to pick them up... If not delivery would be 3 days later by the time all shrimp would be death.
He shipped at 10 pm 2 days after I pay him.
No color on shrimps... Super small shrimp. 2 of them already death."

my response:
"You said all shrimp came alive. People don't ship adults, and the post office would not have delivered it 3 days later. The post office would have delivered it today a anyway.

He came to me asking or a refund, because I shipped them out one day after he told me to. He told me to ship them the day after he paid me.

An they have no color because they were just shipped, please check my profile pictures for actual pics of my shrimp. "

now granted I had some family issues come up and shipped them one day after I told him I would, but all the shrimp arrived he has yet to show me the dead shrimp in the bag, and he told me everything came alive.

Had the shrimp came dead I would have refunded 100% of his money or shipped another box for free.

you guys can make the decision.

decision1: agree with a new member (marino999) who has no feedback that I can find

or decision: agree with me (fishdude3233) who has had good/great feedback every time with one exception that turned out to be a miscommunication.

sorry for my rant.

I even offered to replace them if he didn't acclimate them properly. I guess sometimes you can't win.

He wanted 8 of my shrimp for $10, but I couldn't do that. I had funky vibes when talking to him. And now I see why. Thanks for the insight. I hope new Users can understand that we have been doing this for years and freebies and "low-balling" a seller is Rude. We put our time and patience into this hobby and having to deal with customers that just hassle us and demand more. I'd like to see them pay for the stuff needed to take care of any fry or shrimplets):

Lol my rants over

I have had a guy request his money back from eBay because I wouldn't refund him. He bid on one of my beautiful Betta girls for $10.50. (She was just a pet store Betta, but I figured I would try eBay to sell her, auction style) he left Positive feedback that she was live and healthy. Then I got a message saying she has ich. And he demanded a refund. Now I had her for 6 months, she was no where near diseased. He claimed that she was ill and requested his refund or money for meds. I told him he'll no, that's in him. I even offered for him to ship her back and I would refund. But no, he complained to eBay and they refunded him. What a sore loser!

Thumbs down

I had plants for sale and he wanted all of them for $20 when I had 3 $20 packages put together, he told me I was way over priced and I told him people buy from me all the time and have never had an unsatisfied customer. Thats enough plants to fill a 5 gallon bucket and I would LOSE money on shipping. He has proceeded to rip on me and bother customers on every plant sale thread I post in the classifieds. A weird dude for sure. Would not recommend doing business with him.

Yeah, wasn't sure what to think of it because it didn't really do any harm as people still ordered plants regardless but annoying for sure. What he's saying about you is ridiculous.

I think the reason it took so long for this to come out is because I'm he only person that sold him something. He acted "normal" around me..,

Time to have the moderators warn or ban this person. I always send extra fish and have never lost a fish. If there is a real problem, or it is somebody I know I cut them the best break I can. I have a lot of happy customers and would not be silent if this happened to me.
