Young & Broke!

I've been working on my new 10g nano tank and have started to get interested in corals and my lighting is good enough for mostly low and a few moderate corals....
Is there anyone out there with an abundance willing to give/sell me small frags? Perhaps mushrooms or Kenya tree? Im not sure whats the cheapest but I'll take it.. I have one Red mushroom and im out of money after it
I would try to pay for shipping if im lucky enough to find someone with extra frags...

You might want to look into an aquarium club and make some local friends.

Kenya tree grows like a weed, so probably not a great choice for a 10g.

I agree with the "make local friends" idea. People will often give the rapid growing stuff away just to keep their's in check, but some might do the same with Zoas or other corals. I just took a chunk of Green Star Polyps out of my 60g and put it into my 240g because it was getting too big.

Don't feel bad I'm old and broke
look at saltwater.com they have lots of frags on sale $10. and up and sometimes you can s get free shipping with orders under $100.
find some local clubs you can sometimes find some good deals also Craig's list
I'm good with buying cheap corals online grow them out some than frag them and trade them out at my local saltwater reef store for other nicer corals
I've done this with all types of corals that I know are fast growers
this hobby is addicting and somehow I always find $ to buy something
I've even traded out fish tanks for livestock and other goodies
I have one rock in my tank nothing would grow on than I got some xenia that I traded a 5 polyp frag of zoa's , I know xenia grows fast anywhere so hopefully it will grow on this rock

Young & Broke!

I'm also 14 and fairly broke. Just keep saving up! Seriously. Walk dogs, watch houses, water plants in your area. Put some effort into it! (Not that you aren't already). Put up posters that you walk dogs, watch pets, etc. Make sure your parents let you of course.

I see you're in Florida, if you're okay shipping live fish get a small outdoor plastic kids pool (~50 gallons or something I don't know how big they are), leave it outside, put in 6-8 pet store platys, change some of the water weekly, put in some anacharis, and wait. Pretty soon you'll have hundreds of dollars worth of fish and plants.

There is lots of stuff to do to earn money if you look closely.

Im also 15 and the way I make money is mowing laws, selling trimmings, and breeding fish in my backyard. Having a planted tank selling trimmings is enough to pay for most of my fish related expenses and the breeding fish and shrimp in the backyard gives me extra. Started with 12 White cloud minnows in my backyard 2 months ago and now have 40-50. also growing plants out there as well. Pretty easy to sell almost anything and make money at the bi yearly aquarium club auctions.

Thanks!!! I'll definitely pop in there! By the way does anyone have any tips on how to start selling on this forum? I want to breed snails and possibly black Moscow guppies (I'll have to do more research on the guppies). This is a small question so I don't think I will make a thread.
