I've been playing around with aquariums now for a year or so now,
I have a 4x2x2 tank with canisters. Redsea skimmer, chiller and t5 lighting.
I have spent many sleepless nights reading books, posts and websites about
Saltwater care.
This was before I had any problems.
I had a run of a few good months with my tank (even with a happy anemone my
LFS owner convinced me would be fine when I was a little more naive.)
However after that few months (yes I cycled it first, fed small amounts and cleaned but not over cleaned) I started having tank wipeouts again and again. 3
LFS's in my area can't seem to tell me what's going on and often have incorrectly diagnosed my fish on multiple occasions. I have asked questions on other forums just to have people ridicule me for things I've done (but are not even prepared to point me in the right direction to get information.) basically I'm here to soak in what information I can find and hopefully without the forum trolls who are willing to criticize but not help.
