Aqueon Megaflow Overflow All Glass Aquariums

I am thinking about buying a 125 gallon Aqueon Megaflow Overflow All Glass Aquarium. I heard that the filter is quite noisy and am wondering if anyone can give me some info. Also I am going to set it up for freshwater and am wondering if it's overkill and what kind of filtration is required for this system.
