Hello, Hope you guys well especially during nasty virus spread. I have set up driftwood dominated 60cm x 35cm Betta Sorority Tank. I believe about 23 US gallon. Currently 13 Betta female coexist together peacefully.

My question is although I have completed the aquascaping, I felt that I am missing the “depth”. Still unsatisfied with my layout. I am reaching out for further recommendation to all your experts.

I have more rocks and driftwood and ready to purchase recommended plants if needed. I am kind of hope to add “red color” plant however I dont know how and where to add “soil” without totally starting over.

Please help, Cheers !

John

I have a red lotus in my aquarium, it's doing great in the sand. Red ludwigia would work if you are looking for a taller plant. Do you use fertilizers?

Hello, Sara

Thank you for your reply. I have not use any fertilizers. Per your recommondation I wll try Red ludwiga. Thank you,

The red ludwigia needs fertilizer, at least mine did. You may gave enough fish that it wouldn't be a problem.
