I have a 80 gal tank and want tmake ita cichlid tank
What be the best and easy to start with ?

I would get convicts, kribs, or angelfish. Don't add all these fish to the same tank.

If you are new to keeping fish please do yourself a favor and use the search feature hear. I'm to lazy to post links but maybe someone a little nicer than myself will for ya.

Also you gotta decide on what kind a cichlid you want. New or old worlds. (Africans or central/south Americans).

Cycling the water means allowing beneficial bacteria to settle in

there's too many questions to be answered if you're new. you will save yourself and the fish a lot of trouble by doing some research first. The absolute first ting to do is learn the nitrogen cycle. while the tank is undergoing cycling(usually takes a few weeks to a few months), you can do further research into the type of cichlids you want. do you want a community cichlid or a predator tank, etc.
