Converting from a 5 gallon to a 15 gallon

Hi everyone. I am new to this site, and newish to aquariums. 2 months ago I bought a 5 gallon tank and have had a tough go of it. It wasn't until recently that I read about why. So I went out and bought a 15 gallon tank. Does anyone have any suggestions for how best to get my new tank up and running? I only have a goldfish in my 5 gallon but want to do the best I can to bring it over safely. Thanks !
