DJ here - semi-newbie

I mentioned to my son that I had a 29 gallon aquarium in the past and "walla" he gave me one.

Of course it was a Walmart tank and I have since reinforced it with more silicone.

Anyway - did a water test and it holds water.

Requested advice: It did not come with a pump and I always liked an under-gravel filter. I bought an undergravel and an X5 which is rated for an 80 gallon tank. is that too much power?
