Hello My name is john, aka john the fishman , I've been in the aquarium hobby for about 30 yrs.. I've owned an aquarium service company call saltwater to go since 1983. built my first store in 1987 and built my second store in 2003. which I sold in 2007. I still do aquarium service and love to help people with all their fish and aquarium problems. so I though I'd give a shot helping people online.

Things I've come to learn in the aquarium hobby are:
1) you may never know it all , but it's sure fun trying.
2) always share what you've learned with others and teach them to do the same, we all learn from each other, even faster when we share our knowledge.
3) never be selfish with your corals always share when you can, the more you give away, the better chance you have in getting some back in the event yours dies!
4) Never sale an unhealthy specimen!
5) success is not measured by your own accomplishments, but by the accomplishments of the ones you've helped become successful
